Sessions built to change what a room does, not how it feels.
I speak and facilitate for senior living and nonprofit healthcare audiences: leadership summits, state and national association meetings, board retreats, and executive teams.
Empowering Excellence
“You want a closing keynote that leaves the room with something to do, not just something to feel.”
Excellence in senior living is usually described as a matter of caring more. That framing flatters everyone and changes nothing. The organizations that consistently do excellent work are not staffed by people who care more than yours do. They are built so that excellent work is the easy path. This talk is about that construction: what leaders have to decide, delegate, measure, and stop doing so that the people closest to the work can actually do it well.
Innovation Activation
“Your team is capable and cautious, and good ideas keep dying somewhere between the hallway and the agenda.”
A facilitated working session that gives a leadership team a repeatable method for surfacing, testing, and advancing ideas. Not a creativity exercise. Most teams in senior living are not short on ideas; they are short on a shared filter, a cheap way to test, and a path from a good idea to a funded one. Teams run their own real problems through the full cycle during the session.

“You have one day with everyone in the room and you cannot afford for it to be pleasant and inconclusive.”
Independent facilitation for retreats and board study sessions, including agenda design, pre-reads, the session itself, and a written record of what was decided and by whom. More than twenty facilitated to date.
